Why should I buy a Polymate Trailer?
Corrosion Free Components: With a complete Poly Tub (tub, gate & guards) these components will never rust, will outlast any steel trailer and will keep looking good longer. Strength & Durability: The poly tub is rotational moulded in one piece therefore are no joins or welds giving incredible strength and integrity. Low Maintenance: Very easy to clean, maintain and never require painting or continuous up keep. Performance: When a Polymate Trailer is loaded and endures heavy weights the poly tub has the ability to slightly flex (not visible to the eye) spreading an even weight load and not putting any added pressure in certain parts of the tub. The poly tub also eliminates most road noises a steel trailer would have (rattling & banging) by absorbing the road noise giving you a quieter travel. Pricing: Polymate Trailer are solely one of a kind with nothing in comparison on the market. Compared to other trailers on the market the pricing of a Polymate is extremely competitive when considering the life span and overall benefits of a Polymate. Will the sunlight affect a Polymate? The plastic compound used in Polymate Trailers is a low density compound specifically designed for rotational moulding. The material is UV stable exceeding the requirements with a UV rating of 11 which is much higher than most plastics (example, a wheelie bin with extended time in the sun will fade as the bin only has a UV rating of 2). The polyethylene used is the same as the Poly Boats containing the same standards of UV Rating as your Poly Rainwater Tanks. What is the thickness of the Tub? The Poly Tub has a dual skin design with an average thickness of around 10mm-12mm. The tub is also ribbed underneath ensuring the tub floor can handle extreme weights and pressure. How strong is Polyethylene? Polyethylene is a plastic compound intended for applications requiring an exceptional balance of stiffness and toughness. It has an impact resistance of around 5 times better than fiberglass. The nature of the material is to flex on impact therefore making it extremely difficult to severely damage your Poly Tub. Can a Poly Tub be repaired if damaged? Yes. If for some reason your tub has been damaged a heat gun and some poly welding rod should be all you require. We do recommend the service of a professional plastic repairer such as a plastic welder who would be familiar with repairing of poly products such as poly tanks, plastic bumper bars etc. Is there a warranty? For recreational use, Polymate Trailers is backed with a 2 year warranty. Contact Polymate for full warranty details. Where can I see and purchase a Polymate Trailer?
